SCARBOROUGH, ON – This morning MaryAnn Mihychuk, Liberal candidate for Kildonan-St. Paul, was with members of the Liberal Economic Team. This team is the only one with the experience to strengthen the middle class, create jobs and grow the economy.
“As the former Industry Minister for Manitoba and my roles in the private sector, I understand what it takes to get our economy moving and the job creation needed to strengthen our middle class.” Ms. Mihychuk said. “The Liberals are the only ones with a plan. The status quo under the Conservatives will not help those who need it and the NDP simply do not have a plan or an experienced team.”
Standing on the floor of InspecTech, a manufacturing company specializing in inspection equipment for pipelines and the aerospace industry, Mihychuk said she was impressed with the leading company’s job creation and service support for the domestic and international natural resource sector.
“Canada’s resource industry has great growth potential for jobs in exploration, research & development, extraction, and the high tech supply and service sector. As a geologist and business owner, I know that Canada leads the world in this area and needs an experienced team to ensure it remains that way. It is important to see leading Canadian companies providing services for the resource industry. The Liberals are the only party that understands that we need to grow the different parts of our economy, including the mineral and natural resource sectors.” Ms. Mihychuk said.
Ms. Mihychuk stood with other members of the Liberal Economic team including Chrystia Freeland, the Honourable Scott Brison, the Honourable John McCallum and the Honourable Ralph Goodale.
